Veronica C asked: I’m looking to get my first camcorder. I’m wanting to get it for interviews. I’m a musician but as well venturing into meeting other people around the world. While doing this I want to have a good set camcorder to interview people. So if anyone can help me out with some good tips and camcorders I would appreciate that a lot.

Sandy R asked: I’m looking for a camcorder to buy, something that will not give me the whole ‘home movie’ effect and feel to it. I will also need a tripod so it won’t be shakey and all that but could you just tell me some good inexpensive camcorders that will give me what i’m looking for. I don’t know much about camcorders and lenses but i’m looking into it. If anyone can help me with brands and prices of camcorders to look into I will be very thankful.

luckeenumber8 asked: I’ve been looking into buying a camcorder to record my bands shows. I need something 125$ or less. I really want something that has good audio (obviously) and can capture a good picture in dark places. The venues I play in tend to be dark. I have been looking at Aiptek camcorders but I’m worried I’m going to buy something that isn’t worth the money. Does anyone have any suggestions on camcorders?

I want to capture details about plant pollination by insects at random sampling intervals. But I have to do this at multiple sites and will therefore need to program any camcorder to record at specific interval, say 10 mins every 1 hour. Is there any cheap camcorder which does this? Also how do I do this?
It would be great to get a cheap camcorder since I have to pay for buying multiple camcorders for this research.

Nicholas N asked: I Have a XBOX 360 w/ a new 120 GB harddrive, and a HD DVD player, and a HD Plasma TV. I am looking for a HD camcorder that I can record footage onto the harddrive, but also burn it onto HD DVD discs?
Sony has a lot of good cameras, but they are obviously Blu-Ray, not HD DVD.

twinsplit asked: I’m looking into getting a new camera that uses flash memory/SD cards. I was wondering how easily you can transfer the movie files over to your computer, is it as easy as copy and paste from card to computer? Also, are there any problems with the movie files, and how easily can they be edited and stuff like that. If it matters im looking specifically at the Canon FS100.

Jen asked: I have a JVC camcorder and cannot stand it. It takes still pictures in the middle of my recording and I absolutely **** this feature. Does any know how to turn off this feature? If so I would really appreciate some help before I throw this darn camcorder.
